Due to bad wifi I was unable to post updates for the last few cities we visited.
After we left Italy we left for Austria. While we were in Austria Andy and I participated in a few adventure sports such as white water rafting, mountain biking and paragliding. We stayed in a small town called Haupfgarden which is world famous for its skiing and mountain biking. Our stay was too short because it was my favorite place that we have visited so far. The town reminded me of a small skii town from back home.
Due to the large amounts of activity I was not able to take very many photos of Haupfgarden.
After our short stay we made our way to Munich. On our way to Germany we stopped by the Dachau concentration camp. The camp itself at a creepy vibe to it accompanied with a very creepy statue in the centered of the courtyard. It was very interesting to read about the history of the camp.
After the camp we drove into Munich. It was there we enjoyed a nice bike ride to the world’s second largest beer garden. The food was fantastic and so was the beer. We also got the see some surfers surfing a “wave” down the river in the park.
After our short stop in Germany we made our way back into Austria for a day. We arrived late in the afternoon with just enough time to quickly change into dress clothes. We then drove to Viennas oldest concert hall and enjoyed a Mozzart and Stauss concert. The music hall is said to be the very hall where Mozzart himself played for the first time in public. Pretty cool! After the concert was finished we then enjoyed a nice traditional Austrian dinner.
